How I work

Our sessions all take place in a confidential, safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Psychotherapy offers ways to gently explore  elements of your life that are worrying you.

Sessions might give you an opportunity to talk about your current situation, as well as past experiences.

As a Trainee Psychoanalytical Clinical Psychotherapist and a Doctor in Psychoanalytic Studies with 20 years of professional experience in mental health, I will listen to you without judgement, and allow you to progress through the therapeutic work at your own pace.

I appreciate that the decision to pursue therapy is sometimes taken through difficult circumstances or linked with painful past or early life events.

My approach is to create an environment where we can explore these together gradually, and safely.

I understand that opening up to a stranger and sharing personal things can be overwhelming and scary, and will provide a supportive and warm setting, in-person or online, for you to feel heard, listened to and validated. 

Finding your voice through unspoken and unheard parts of your self can be transformative and lead to a greater sense of self and improved relationships with others.
